The Tyre Collective is spearheading research into capture and monitoring of tyre wear, accelerating the shift towards zero-emission mobility. A device is positioned close to where the tyre meets the road. The device currently captures 60% of all airborne particles.
The device name, tyco, originated from the combination of tyre and collector. Communicating its function, it also connects the name of the creators to their first marketed product. The green ‘o’ symbolises both a tyre and sustainability which acts as a visual thread throughout the branding to create a cohesive identity and a distinctive landmark.

We chose to collaborate with Royal Mail since they are the most popular parcel delivery provider in the UK. Whilst their Electric Vans are Zero exhaust Emission Vehicles the added weight of batteries leads to higher tyre wear and a negative environmental impact. tyco provides Royal Mail with an opportunity to lead the way and set the standard.
